• Students are expected to demonstrate transparency and honesty in all academic and professional activities, including assessments and feedback, maintaining the highest ethical standards.
• Students are expected to show respect for peers, instructors, and cultural traditions, and to foster an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
• Students are expected to handle all personal and academic information with discretion.
• Students are expected to adhere to professional standards in their teaching practices and interactions.
• Students are expected to honor and respect the cultural significance of music. Their teaching methods and practices should reflect an understanding of and appreciation for diverse musical traditions.
• Students are expected to treat all individuals fairly and equitably, avoiding favouritism and discrimination, and providing equal opportunities for success in their educational journey.
• The program includes two written tests: one focused on methodology and one on pedagogy.
• Students will be required to complete various assignments, including seminars, chart work, record work, school models, and instrument models.
• Practical teaching experience will be gained through placements in government schools.
