Anti Ragging Committee

The Anti-Ragging Committee at our college is committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for all students, particularly for newcomers. Recognizing the detrimental effects of ragging on individuals and the overall campus culture, the committee works proactively to prevent and address any incidents of ragging. It is dedicated to raising awareness about the consequences of such behaviour and promoting a culture of respect and camaraderie among students. The committee conducts regular awareness programs, workshops, and orientation sessions to educate the college community about the seriousness of ragging and the importance of maintaining a harmonious educational environment.

To facilitate the reporting of incidents, the college has established a complaint box located within the premises, ensuring that students can report any incidents of ragging confidentially and without fear of reprisal. Upon receiving complaints, the committee takes immediate and strict action, following the guidelines set by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and other regulatory bodies. This may include thorough investigations and disciplinary measures against those found guilty of ragging, reinforcing the college’s zero-tolerance policy towards such behaviour. By implementing these measures, the Anti-Ragging Committee is dedicated to ensuring a safe and inclusive atmosphere where all students can thrive academically and socially.
