The 48th Kalai Kaviri Day, celebrated along with the Founders’ Day on 30 September 2025, was held with reverence and grandeur. Rev. Fr. L. V. Eugine, Parish Priest of St. Roche’s Church, Ambigapuram West, Tiruchirappalli, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The event was marked by the release of three books authored by members of the Kalai Kaviri family:
- “Ahakannil Isai” – a unique Braille book by Mr. R. F. Prem Kumar, Assistant Professor of Mridangam.
- “Hands on Laya (Mridangam Basic Lessons)” by Mr. A. Raj Kamal, Assistant Professor of Mridangam.
- “Learn Bharatanatyam in 60 Days” by Dr. S. B. Bhavana Shree, part-time student of the college.
The day also witnessed the release of a special felicitation song for Parish Priests, written and composed by Rev. Fr. Secretary, and the launch of the college’s own ISSN-registered e-journal, marking yet another milestone in Kalai Kaviri’s journey of excellence in fine arts and research.
